It's very exciting times here at Elite IT Services! We just received notification of our approved GSA Schedule 70 Contract Award from the General Services Administration. Effective July 1, 2007, we are contract number GS-35F-0489T! As a woman-owned small business concern, obtaining the GSA is paramount to being able to play in the big leagues with other small businesses and the prime contractors to provide services to Government Agencies. This was a long process for us but we made it through. Onward and upward. Information about GSA can be accessed www.gsa.gov.

Elite IT Services is adding two new benefits to the Compensation Package for our employees. We are paying all full-time employees time and a half for Overtime effective July 1. This is over and above the Fair Labor Standards Act directed by the Department of Labor requirement of employees with pay at $27.63 or below receiving time and a half pay for hours worked over 40 hours. We're opening this up and allowing all of our employees eligibility for Time and a Half pay for approved overtime hours. In addition, we are adding a 6 Paid Holiday Schedule to our Compensation Package to enhance our marketability as a key IT competitor in the marketplace. The holidays include: Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day, and Memorial Day.

In the CRN Magazine www.crn.com is an article titled 163 Emerging Tech Dynamos about Technical Solution Providers adding more and more emerging vendors to their team to add pliability, flexibility, and fast response to the marketplace. Emerging Vendors are heating up the marketplace and nudging out some of the industry giants because of their quick bob and weave response to technical development.
As I was reading this article I couldn’t help but include Elite in a category of "emerging project solutions provider." As a Project Solutions Service Provider, we offer the same advantages to large companies in terms of teaming and partnering as a technical solution provider. We are lean and able to move quickly. Well we did it! We have launched our new website and I am so excited! www.eliteitservices.com We have been working to change the face of our organization to more accurately reflect our services and capabilities. We launched our new site on Thursday, May 31st to support our current direction in the IT industry and the new opportunities we have been experiencing. Some of the key features of the site expresses our new presence working with the Government. We hone in on specific specialty areas such as, Enterprise Architecture and the business and technology studies we have done with Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) in the past. We have our IT Technical Support capabilities better advertised and an overall professional presence that reflects the true essence of Elite IT Services.
Elite IT Services' President and CEO, Sandi Hubert, was the guest speaker today on the "Women Inspiring Women" Radio Show featured on WGNU AM-920 Radio Station, hosted by Amie Bossi and Pam Royle.
Sandi Hubert was asked to speak on the show with Amie Bossi and Pam Royle on the "Women Inspiring Women" Show featured every week from 1:00 - 2:00 PM. Sandi was asked to come and speak about her business and her personal life, as a result of the newspaper article that ran on April 13th in the St. Lous Post-Dispatch Small Business Section featuring Elite IT Services, story by Kathie Sutin. The newspaper story focused on Elite's keen ability to place the right people in the right positions, so much so that clients are opting to hire the Elite's contract right-to-hire employees. Sandi also shared some of her outside interests with supporting the community and personal outreach.
